Over the last several years, I have had the pleasure of being an active member of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum and am now a proud Director of the MEF board.  I have contributed to white papers, participated in podcasts and  spoken on several domestic and international MEF sponsored panels.  I believe that MEF is a valuable partner in the Messaging ecosystem, one which drives initiatives to collectively address issues that negatively impact the messaging industry as well as lead collaboration, excellence and compliance.
BTS greatly values being part of the MEF organization. The MEF initiaves, with their workshops and events, provide a collaborative space to tackle industry challenges, gain valuable insights, and build trusted partnerships. Our membership has supported our business development, enhanced our visibility, and helped BTS drive innovation across the global communications ecosystem.
MEF is not just an organisation to belong to in which the membership forms part of your business credentials. The world of MEF is the collective minds of captains of industry, thought leaders and innovators, from many parts of the globe and from many sectors within the mobile industry. It serves to give insights to opportunities and threats within the mobile industry, over different geographies, while tackling the problems together. It opens conversations with policy makers and regulators, with one voice. And most important for me is the connections I’ve made with amazing people over the years, some I can now call friends.
After more than 10 years as an active Mobile Ecosystem Forum member, we see it as a key platform for shaping the future of messaging and communications. It’s a community where collaboration turns into real industry progress. I’m proud to now serve as a Board Member - it’s an opportunity to raise awareness about the value of partnership as the foundation for building a stronger ecosystem, innovation and its monetization.
Our membership in MEF and the Future of Messaging program afford us inner access to invaluable information on the direction of our industry and opportunities to foster collaboration with industry partners. We have also been able to advocate and influence industry changes at the highest levels, on issues like evolving business models and de-commoditizing mobile messaging. Being active in MEF has increased our industry visibility and allowed us to meaningfully contribute to the industry dialogue.
The MEF provides an unparalleled forum for discussions, insights, and visibility on the latest trends in the mobile ecosystem, especially messaging. Their leadership in RCS developments, including the annual RCS World events, and collaborative approach to tackling industry challenges like standardization and fraud prevention make them invaluable. The business development opportunities through MEF's global and regional conferences and meetups have been exceptional. Dotgo has found MEF invaluable for our growth, and I highly recommend MEF to others in the mobile industry.
The MEF is the framework where relevant debates and significant initiatives to change our market take place.
